ABOUT WILLIAM MACMILLAN

My name is William MacMillan, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Select Board.

With a background in machine work and aerospace manufacturing, I have built a career that demands ingenuity, innovation, and leadership. After founding and running a successful custom machine manufacturing business for ten years, I now serve as a Regional Technical Specialist for a global manufacturing company, supporting over 1,200 customers ranging from small machine shops to large aerospace and power generation industries. My daily work revolves around driving efficiency, fostering economic growth, and overcoming whatever adversity comes my way.

My wife, Melissa, and I were drawn to Uxbridge for its historical charm, and we are committed to preserving and enhancing what makes this town special. As a current member of the Zoning Board, I have seen firsthand the challenges facing our town, including the need for strong leadership in navigating state government overreach. I believe that the citizens deserve a candidate who will ensure responsible development while protecting the interests of our residents, businesses, and schools.

Uxbridge deserves leaders who promote transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.  I am an experienced candidate who supports a business-friendly, education-driven environment that provides tangible benefits to taxpayers. I am committed to ensuring that our town remains a clean, quiet, and affordable place to live, work, and grow.
